Terms of Service

1. What the service does

Mirifics enlarges images and removes the artefacts that automated generators leave behind. The work is done by software. We do not review, retouch or approve individual results, and no person at Mirifics looks at your images in the ordinary course of running the service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for everything done through your account. One account belongs to one person or one organisation. If you think someone else has gained access, write to support@mirifics.com and we will help you close it off.

3. Credits and payment

The service is prepaid. You buy credits; one run costs 10 credits. Rates are shown on the home page. We may change them, but a change never affects credits you already hold.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we learn only that a payment succeeded and for how much. Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred between accounts. They are refundable on the terms set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

4. The images you upload

You keep every right you had in an image before you uploaded it. You give us permission to store, transmit and process it for one purpose only: producing your result and showing it back to you.

We do not use your images to train models, we do not sell them, and we do not show them to anyone else. Producing a result does mean sending your image to computing providers outside our own infrastructure; the Privacy Policy describes who they are.

You confirm that you hold the rights to every image you upload, or have permission from whoever does.

We keep your images and results for 14 days. After that they are deleted automatically, files and records together, and we cannot recover them. Mirifics is a tool, not storage: download what you want to keep. You can also delete anything sooner from the app.

5. The results

As between you and us, the result is yours to use as you wish. Be aware that the copyright status of machine-generated images is unsettled in several countries, and we cannot promise you own a result the way you own a photograph you took yourself.

Results are provided as they come out of the model. We do not guarantee their quality, accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. What you must not upload or do

• Sexual imagery involving minors, in any form.
• Intimate images of real people who have not consented to them being processed.
• Likenesses of real people used to deceive, defraud, impersonate or harass.
• Material that infringes the rights of anyone else.
• Anything unlawful where you are.
• Attempts to overload, probe or work around the limits of the service, resale of access, or bulk automated use outside the interface we provide.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this. Material in the first category is reported to the relevant authorities.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise that it will be available without interruption. We may change it, pause it or stop offering it. If we stop offering it permanently, we refund unused credits.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. If we close your account for any reason other than a breach of section 6, we refund your unused credits.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update this page. Material changes are published here with a new date at the top and take effect 14 days later. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If you do not, ask for a refund of your unused credits within that period.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we both agree to their jurisdiction.

If you live somewhere else and the consumer law of your own country gives you protections that cannot be signed away, this clause does not take them from you.

12. Who you are contracting with

Mirifics, California, United States. These are the same details that appear on your receipt and invoice from our payment processor; if the two ever disagree, tell us, because one of them is wrong.
